Job Description


  1. Person will be responsible for Increasing FTL branch booking and delivery Business.
  2. Business development and new client generation
  3. Ensures all field logistics operational processes governing the ordering, stocking, disbursement, processing, and shipment of service parts inventory are performed properly.
  4. Implement, document, and improve processes on information flow, vendor on-boarding, escalation handing and other logistics related activities.
  5. Familiarity with transport regulations in different states.
  6. Controls and directs the functions and operations of all logistics personnel in support of Customer Services.
  7. Monitoring supplier performance, vendor rating, ensuring settlement of creditors accounts & cost reduction in direct & indirect materials.
  8. Commercial negotiations with transportation vendors and managing a fleet.
  9. Vendor development for future requirements.
  10. Streamline and standardize the vendor on-boarding process.
  11. Monitor and manage the transportation network. Ownership for demand & Supply planning process and making sure the customer receives the order in time.
  12. Reduce the transit time and contribute to the overall TAT reduction.
  13. Continuously reduce cost and improve vehicle utilization.
  14. Schedule deliveries and pick-ups and optimize routes and processes.


Key Skills


  1. Graduates having 5-7 yrs exp. with very large distribution Fleet / Trucks aggregation/sourcing of different types of vehicles or similar experience in handling huge fleet of Trucks, Route Planning, Pricing Customs, Fleet maintenance etc. Knowledge of FTL logistics management. Ability to handle branch works.
  2. Experience in working for a logistics company, having direct exposure in outsourcing traffic / fleet department of a logistics / transport company / manufacturing company/ broker office / Truck Sales Organization / Tyre sales companies for a minimum period of 2 Years.
  3. Exposure to various routes and rates prevailing in the major sectors.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in local languages and fluent in Hindi & English.
  6. Familiarity with the Truck engagement procedures and processes.
  7. Basic computer knowledge in tools such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and willing to understand operation of the GPS Tracker device.
Salary range per month: ₹ 30,000 - ₹ 50,000
